“I hired Louise as a coach when I was trying to assess different work and career options. It was important to me that Louise provided a space to air some very tentative and loosely formed ideas.
The sessions with Louise were extremely useful. Louise struck a good balance between listening carefully and challenging and pushing me. Louise is very good at playing back a discussion, catching hold of the interesting parts and giving it shape. I feel that, with Louise’s help, I made a number of productive discoveries about myself – who I am, what motivates me and my values. Importantly, I think I ended up feeling more settled and happier within myself after the coaching process.”
“Louise provided a short but transformational series of inspirational coaching sessions, which not only helped me reflect upon and understand my current working practices but, more importantly, provided me with a superb toolkit to manage my career going forward. She is highly professional and offered significant insights in each of our sessions, but she is also great fun to work with! I only wish I’d found such a great coach ten years ago. I recommend her warmly.”
“Working with Louise was a hugely beneficial experience which has undoubtedly helped with my career progression. The coaching sessions provided a safe space for discussion and speculation and allowed me to formulate clearer ideas of my priorities and personal strengths. Louise was able to provide supportive ideas and advice, as well as helping to clarify my thoughts around personal development. As well as improving my confidence and understanding of my personal motivations, working with Louise has left me with a number of effective strategies for considering further development and structuring my thinking around my career and personal priorities. As such, I would highly recommend Louise to those considering coaching.”
I approached Louise at a transitional point in my career where I was on the brink of making a significant change in trajectory. Louise provided and safe and comfortable environment to talk through uncertainties about the decision to ‘move on’ and guided me through the change. Louise strikes the perfect balance between listening and challenging to dig deep to extract patterns of thought that ultimately helped me understand my objectives around personal development and career trajectory. Mostly, I was left feeling confident and excited about moving on. In the long-term, my sessions with Louise have left me with a much clearer understanding my drivers and priorities. I would highly recommend Louise considering coaching.
I initially received coaching from Louise in 2014 and recently went back for my second round. Both rounds of coaching have been pivotal in helping me assess the career trajectories that were available to me, but also to explore others that were not so obvious. Both instances led to making a significant change, first changing sector entirely and then focusing on a specific thematic area. I appreciate Louise creating a safe place that allowed me to unpack some previous experiences and decisions, whilst empowering me to be more aware of my strengths and therefore my options in the workplace. Louise went beyond exploring the different career paths available by also supporting me turn a period of burnout and stress into a positive learning experience: about myself but also about the workplace more generally. Louise really took the time to understand me and the environment I operate within. I cannot recommend Louise enough!
This quote from Nelson Mandela is resonating for me currently as I observe some of my #coaching clients working hard on their #resilience with some very positive outcomes “The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.” Nelson Mandela
